Holiday perfume sets

Around this time of year you start to see holiday gift sets. This is one I have picked up so far this year. This is a bebe set I got at CVS for 20.00 dollars. I fell in love with the key chain. I have smelled this before in a magazine and liked the smell so I was surprised to see a set like this. This was the last set left so I am not the only one who likes this perfume/cute set. I'm sure if you keep an eye out you will find a set you like. The sets come in a wide range of perfumes and different prices but you sometimes get more for your money than just buying the perfume by itself.

Necklace Organizer

Are you looking for something to hold your necklaces for cheap? Then try this!

First, you will need cardboard cut it to the size you want it to be, get it as straight as you can. You will need two pieces.

Second, take two pieces of cardboard and glue together with glue stick. Lay flat with heavy objects on it so the glue will dry.

Third, take a fabric of your choice and cut it bigger than the cardboard. Lay cardboard on fabric and fold fabric around it. I used thumb tacks (flat ones) to hold one side down and pulled the the wrinkles out. I ended up putting thumb tacks all around making sure to get out all wrinkles. Then I glued the rest of fabric to cardboard with fabric glue.

Fourth, after the glue is dry you can add ribbon as I have done. I used fabric glue, be creative and add your special touches.

Fifth, you are ready to hang. Try looking in the craft stores for picture hanging kits for supplies you will need.

Sixth, get push pins, colorful ones look best and make sure they're the ones you can grab a hold of.

Add necklaces and admire your work!

Finally

Finally got the pool going and it is working great and looks so nice, I have my husband to thank for that. I have also been chatting with alot of people I haven't talked to in awhile, nice to keep in touch with loved ones. Talking about keeping in touch, I got a new phone the best one I have had in terms of being able to do alot more. On the other hand I have been trying to figure out people I just DON'T think that will ever happen. I have had two birthdays in one week I have had to celebrate, one was yesterday it was going good until a bad storm came through took down some trees and knocked out the power for hours. It could have been worse so glad it wasn't. Until next time!

Almost pool time!

Well hey, been awhile since I posted so I thought I would. Summer is almost here and I'm so glad because I love to swim and play in the pool. Talking about pools, this year we haven't got ours open and going but hopefuly soon. We are having to replace some things and I hope things go good so by this time next year we can have it open sooner, we'll see. I have also been redoing my closet/makeup area room I have found some nice things to put in there at good prices and I love to bargain hunt. So my room is almost done and I love it. As far as life goes I am still missing my brother it just doesn't seem real. I think about him all the time, every thing I see or hear makes me think of him. I feel so sorry for my daddy, he was with him when he passed and he still doesn't want to talk about him, it's hard for him to cope with . My brother also left behind a young son who misses him dearly. I hope he turns out to be a good man just like his daddy. I'm sure he will he always wanted to be just like him.
